Tiberius Coruncanius is the first plebeian to be elected pontifex maximus of Rome. The war is concluded with the marriage of Antiochus to Ptolemy II's daughter, Berenice Syra. Antiochus divorces his previous wife, Laodice, and transfers the succession to Berenice's children.
